JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO)-Sheriff Tim Morse reports that a Topeka man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in southern Jackson County. On Monday February 15th, shortly before noon, a Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a southbound 2002 Infiniti QX4 for allegedly committing a traffic infraction near 110th Road on US Hwy 75. The investigation into the traffic stop led to the discovery of illegal contraband. Deputies placed the passenger, Phil Amos Davis, 67, of Topeka, under arrest for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Davis was booked into the Jackson County Jail.
