Mayetta woman arrested on meth charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO)-Sheriff Tim Morse reports that a Mayetta woman is in custody following a traffic stop in northern Jackson County Thursday morning. Shortly before 6 a.m. a Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a 2008 Chevy van south of 286th and US Hwy 75 for a traffic infraction. The passenger of the vehicle, Janna Lynn Marshno, 34, of Mayetta, was arrested on a Shawnee County warrant. Further investigation led to discovering that Marshno was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Marshno was booked into the Jackson County Jail.
