I would like to welcome you to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office website. This site provides you with a view of what law enforcement does in Jackson County. This site also allows you to help take part in helping keep Jackson County safe. I encourage you to join the nearly 25% of Jackson County residents in being a part of the Jackson County Community Watch Program. This program nicknamed “the Electronic Posse” allows you to be informed of what is going on in your neighborhood. Important messages from the sheriff’s office are sent to participants. Sometimes searching for criminals by a few deputies in such a large county is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. This program has helped reduce burglaries in Jackson County by increasing the number of eyes being watchful for criminal activity.
It is an honor to serve you as your sheriff, and it is an honor to serve with the great people of the sheriff’s office. We as a county are very fortunate to have the quality of men and women who make up this agency. Along with your help and support we have been very successful in deterring criminal activity and capturing criminals.

This site provides the names and faces of local inmates and the names of those who are wanted by the sheriff’s office. Our authority comes from our citizens and by teaming together we can continue to make Jackson County a great place to live and raise our families.
