Woman arrested on meth and child endangerment charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO)-Sheriff Tim Morse reports that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman on Thursday night following a deputy checking on the welfare of her children. A deputy stopped at a residence in the 300 Block of Topeka Street in Holton around 8 p.m. to follow up on a report of child neglect. The result of the investigation led to the deputy placing the woman, Kristina Elaine Hyatt, 32, of Holton, under arrest for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of child endangerment.
