Two Topekans arrested on meth charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at around 11:30 P.M., a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 Toyota Camry for a traffic infraction near U.S. Hwy 75 and Columbine Dr., north of Holton. During the traffic stop, a Jackson County Sheriff’s K-9 alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle, approx. 3.7 ounces of methamphetamine, a hallucinogenic drug, drug paraphernalia and a firearm were located.
The driver, Thomas Len Myers, 35, of Topeka, was arrested and charged with the following: distribution of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of weapons and criminal possession of weapon by felon
The passenger, Rashad Kamen Holloway, 35, of Topeka, was arrested and charged with the following: distribution of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Holloway was also arrested for a felony warrant out of Geary Co, Kansas for a probation violation stemming from a previous distribution of methamphetamine charge from 2022.
