Drug Take Back

Results of the Saturday’s Drug Take Back

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office transferred 137.5 lbs. of prescription drugs to Topeka on Wednesday morning to be destroyed by DEA in cooperation with the National Prescription Drug Take back Day held this past Saturday across the nation with participating law enforcement agencies.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office proudly participates in this program, and although a specific day is designated for collection, residents may dispose of their expired and unused prescription drugs year around by dropping them by the Sheriff’s Office main lobby in a designated “Drug Take Back” box.
