Couple arrested with methamphetamine
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that on April 28, 2024, around 1 A.M., a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Mercury Grand Marquis near 150th and U.S. Hwy 75 for a traffic infraction. The traffic stop ended with both the driver and the passenger being arrested. The driver, Rodger Daryl Baker, 59, of Topeka, and the passenger, Colette Marie McKinnon were arrested on drug charges. Baker was booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. McKinnon was booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
