Two from Mayetta arrested on meth charges

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that on April 20th 2024 around 1:30 A.M., Jackson County Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2011 Kia Sorento for a traffic violation at 118th and S Road near Hoyt. The traffic stop led to the search of the vehicle. During this search multiple open containers were located along with methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

The driver, Frederick Thompson Dillon Jr., 33, of Mayetta, was arrested for felony interference with law enforcement, aggravated child endangerment; expose to meth chemicals, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting and open container, driving while suspended, improper driving on laned roadway, no driver’s license in possession, and driving without insurance.

The passenger, Cissy Rose Martinez-McKinney, 39, of Mayetta, was arrested for felony interference with law enforcement, aggravated child endangerment; expose to meth chemicals, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transporting an open container.

Both subjects were booked into the Jackson County Jail.
