Cold case search warrant served on Holton residence
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Kansas Highway Patrol and the Holton Police Department have served a search warrant on a Holton residence in the 400 block of East 6th today. The search warrant stems from a missing person investigation and an investigation into the death of another person. Russian immigrant Yulia Shevtensko Larrison went missing in 2001 and Elena Kristova Larrison, also a Russian immigrant, was killed in a reported accident in Holton in 2006. The incidents were previously investigated by the Holton Police Department. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office re-opened investigations concerning both incidents in 2019. At this time, no arrests have been made and no further information will be released at this time.
