Topeka man jailed on drug charges

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that on Thursday April 11th 2024, at around 2:20 A.M., a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2022 Honda Accord near 182nd and U.S. Hwy 75 for a traffic infraction. During the course of the traffic stop the deputy developed probable that led to the search of the vehicle where 29.3 grams of methamphetamine was seized.

Mark Edward Grace, 41, of Topeka, was arrested for distribution of methamphetamine greater than 3.5 grams, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia. Grace is being held in the Jackson County Jail.
