Topeka woman arrested on felony charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Dakota pickup for a traffic infraction on Saturday afternoon around 1:30 P.M. on 134th Road east of U.S. Hwy 75. A Jackson County K-9 alerted to the presence of illegal substances inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The passenger of the vehicle, Haley Rose Slusser, 32, of Topeka, was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail where she faces felony charges of possession of methamphetamine, attempted bribery and possession of drug paraphernalia.
