TWO TOPEKANS ARRESTED ON METH CHARGES

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports shortly before 1 A.M. Saturday, two Topekans were arrested following a traffic stop. A Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a 2005 Nissan Altima near 150th and U.S. Hwy 75. The driver of the vehicle, Tiffany Michelle Thompson, 42, of Topeka, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container and driving while suspended.  The passenger, Dwan Maurice Taylor Sr., 41, of Topeka, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony interference with law enforcement.
