Two Saint Mary’s residents arrested on drug charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that a 50-year-old St. Mary’s woman and a 42-year-old Saint Mary’s woman was arrested Thursday night in Jackson County on drug charges. Wendy Lynn Strout, of Saint Mary’s was arrested after a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped the vehicle Strout was driving for an alleged traffic violation on 150th Road near Mayetta shortly before 11 P.M. Deputies during the stop seized drug contraband. Strout was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger, Lanae Lee Derby, of Saint Mary’s, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and transporting an open container.
