Americus man arrested on meth charge
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports an Americus man is in custody following a traffic stop in southern Jackson County Thursday morning. A Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a 2010 Honda Civic for a traffic infraction near 126th and US Hwy 75 shortly before 10:00 a.m. Deputies arrested the passenger, Lawrence Alan Henson, 61, of Americus. Henson was booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
