JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO)-Sheriff Tim Morse reports that a Mayetta man is in custody in the Jackson County Jail following a traffic stop south of Holton on US Hwy 75 near 214th Road Tuesday afternoon. A Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a 1997 Honda Accord when the deputy believed the license of the driver was suspended. Further investigation led to the discovery of alleged illicit items inside the vehicle. The driver, Roy Hector Wahquahboshkuk Jr., 44, of Mayetta, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting open container and driving while suspended.
