Arrests made following theft call

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO)-Sheriff Tim Morse reports that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting an attempted theft in progress at the Holton Walmart on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at approximately 3 p.m. Before deputies arrived; the suspects left the scene. Deputies located the suspect vehicle traveling southbound on US-Hwy-75 and conducted a traffic stop at US-75 and 174th Road. Two occupants were detained for questioning regarding the theft and a Sheriff’s Office K-9 was deployed.

The driver, Pilatos George Anguiano, 46, of Basehor, was arrested for attempted theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia.

The passenger, Jenifer Aldridge, 39, of Lawrence, was arrested for theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
