Injury Accident South of Holton
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Holton Fire Department and Jackson County EMS responded to an injury accident on Tuesday evening at approximately 7:45 p.m. east of Q. Road on 214th Road. The driver was identified as Jessica Holmes, 31, of Holton. Holmes was the only occupant and was driving a 2002 Saturn passenger car westbound on 214th Road when the vehicle left the roadway east of Q. Road, and struck the guardrail on the north side of the road when the vehicle’s airbags deployed. Holmes was transported to Holton Community Hospital and later to Stormont Vail Regional Medical Center by Jackson County EMS. The accident remains under investigation.
