Fatality accident west of Holton
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an injury accident near K-16 Hwy and M. Road west of Holton shortly before 2 P.M. The accident involved a semi-truck and trailer and a pickup truck. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Kansas Highway Patrol, Jackson County EMS, and the Holton Fire Department responded to the scene. One fatality was confirmed. K-16 Hwy remains closed from L. to M. Roads during the investigation. The KHP CHART Team will be investigating the cause of the accident.
