Man sought in shooting in Soldier

 JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that a man is being sought for questioning in a shooting that occurred Friday evening in the City of Soldier in NW Jackson County.  Deputies were dispatched to a residence located at 318 Friend Street in the town of Soldier a little after 9 P.M.  The suspect and the victim were not present upon the arrival of law enforcement.  The victim was later located and was found to be uninjured.  The suspect in the matter was identified as Teddy Lynn Moore, 56, of Soldier. Moore is wanted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for questioning in the incident.  Moore may be driving a maroon in color 1996 Buick Century bearing Kansas License plate of 815RSS. The Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public in regards to the whereabouts of Moore.
