Kansas City man arrested on cocaine and weapon charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that on February 13, 2023, at around 10:30 P.M., a Jackson County Deputy Sheriff conducted a traffic stop on a white 2010 Acura passenger vehicle for a traffic infraction near 142nd and U.S. Hwy 75. The driver was identified as Randy Thanh Nguyen, 31, of Kansas City, Missouri. Nguyen was arrested by deputies and booked into the Jackson County Jail on the following charges: possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of a firearm, transporting an open container, driving while suspended, no vehicle registration and no insurance.
