Topeka man arrested on drug and interference charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that on February 5, 2023, at approximately 3 A.M., a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a 2011 Scion XB on U.S. Hwy 75 near 102nd Road in southern Jackson County. The driver, Christopher James Clinton, 40, of Topeka, was arrested during the stop. Clinton was booked in the Jackson County Jail on the following charges: distribute opiate, opium, narcotic, certain stimulant, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, felony interference with law enforcement, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other traffic charges.
