Topeka man arrested on cocaine distribution charge
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that on November 11, 2022, at approximately 5 P.M., a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2014 Dodge Journey near 162nd and U.S. Highway 75. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of illegal substances and drug paraphernalia. Deputies located 26 individually packaged bags of cocaine and other assorted drugs and paraphernalia. The driver, Ernest Russell Davis, 60, of Topeka, was arrested for distribution of cocaine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug and drug paraphernalia.
