Two arrested for drug crimes during traffic stop south of Holton
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that two were arrested Monday afternoon during a traffic stop on 198th Road near Q. Road. Deputies seized illegal drug contraband during the stop. John Albert Johnston, 39, of Topeka, and Melissa Ann Hibbs, 40, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail. Johnston was booked for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended and driving while habitual. Hibbs was booked for possession of a hallucinogenic drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
