Deputy Klenk and Sheriff Morse
New deputy patrolling Jackson County
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that Deputy Michael Klenk is now a Kansas certified law enforcement officer. Deputy Klenk previously served as a patrol sergeant with the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office in Missouri. Deputy Klenk has been employed with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office since May 31, 2021 when he was granted a provisional Kansas certification. Deputy Klenk underwent the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center Reciprocity Program. Deputy Klenk received his Kansas Full-Time Law Enforcement Certification on Monday. Deputy Klenk is enjoying serving the citizens of Jackson County.
