Nebraska man captured following pursuit
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that a Nebraska man allegedly fled from deputies Monday night around 11:30 P.M. A deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic infraction near K-9 Hwy and U.S. Hwy 75, when the vehicle allegedly fled from the deputy northbound on U.S. 75 Hwy. A pursuit ensued across Brown County into the State of Nebraska where the pursuit was turned over to Richardson County Deputies. Deputies were able to deploy tire deflating devices that ended the pursuit. The driver, Terrance R. Dowd, 39, of Fremont, Nebraska was taken into custody on traffic and drug charges.
