OKLAHOMA WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG DISTRIBUTION
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that an Oklahoma woman suspected of trafficking large quantities of marijuana into Kansas was arrested Saturday morning. A Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a 2013 Dodge Durango for a traffic infraction in the construction zone on U.S. Hwy 75 near Netawaka. Further investigation into the traffic stop led deputies to discover a large quantity of marijuana in the trunk of the vehicle. The driver, Kristian Renea Shepherd, 36, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was arrested and is being held in the Jackson County Jail for felony distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp.
