Burglary reported on Shawnee County line
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a burglary to a shed that was reported this morning in southeastern Jackson County. A citizen in the 18000 block of 98th Road reported that someone had made entry to a pickup truck that is on their property. Nothing from the vehicle was reported missing or damaged. However, owners of the residence south of the initial location on X. Road near the Shawnee County line, reported to have items missing from a garage. The burglary is believed to have occurred sometime after midnight and before 7:30 am this morning. The Sheriff’s Office is interested in hearing from anyone who might have seen anyone suspicious in the area yesterday or last night. The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone that may have information about this incident to contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 785-364-2251.
