12170 X. Road House Fire
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 11:15 pm on Wednesday night of a fire that was later found to be a fire of a residence at 12170 X Road in southeastern Jackson County. Fire crews arrived on scene and found the house fully engulfed. It was determined that no people or pets were inside the home at the time of the fire and the house is a total loss. Occupants are Louis and Christina Williams and 3 children. The fire was contained at 12:25 am. The following agencies responded to the incident: Hoyt, Mayetta, PBPN and Rock Creek Township Fire Departments along with Jackson County EMS and Sheriff’s Office. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
