Holton man arrested for aggravated indecent liberties with a child
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that a Holton man was arrested on a Jackson County District Court warrant on Wednesday. The warrant was issued in reference to an investigation conducted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Jay Leonard Stewart, 44, of Holton, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on the charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child under 14 years of age. Stewart was arrested at a Topeka motel Wednesday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol assisted the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office with the apprehension of Stewart.
