Car stop ends in two arrests for methamphetamine

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that at approximately 4:30 P.M., on Friday November 25, 2022, a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy executed a traffic stop on a Ford Taurus for an alleged traffic infraction near 126th and U.S. Hwy 75.  The driver of the vehicle, Adam Lee Clark, 30, Valley Falls, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hallucinogenic drug and criminal use of a weapon.  The passenger, Sarah Destin Benedict, 39, of Holton, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hallucinogenic drug.
