Search warrant executed on Holton residence
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant that was issued in reference to an ongoing drug investigation at 513 Kansas Ave. in Holton Friday. At approximately 9:00 A.M. Jackson County Detectives, Deputies and Agents with the K.B.I. served the search warrant, where two subjects were taken into custody on prior arrest warrants. Stoney Brande Hards, 52, of Holton, was arrested on a Jackson County District Court warrant for probation violation. Dacoeta Rose DeVader, 31, of Holton, was arrested on a Jackson County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Law enforcement seized a quantity of drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be methamphetamine. Local officials were contacted due to deplorable living conditions at the residence. Further charges in this investigation are expected.
