Early morning traffic stop yields drug arrest

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports one man is in custody on drug charges following an early morning traffic stop in Jackson County.  Steven Kelly Schuster, 29, of  Topeka was arrested following a traffic stop for a traffic infraction that occurred shortly before 2:30 am Monday morning near 134th and U.S. Hwy 75.  Schuster was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended.
