Two women arrested in stolen vehicle
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports that two women were arrested on Thursday December 2nd around 3:30 p.m. in a stolen vehicle out of Park City, Kansas. Deputies located a 2013 white Ford Explorer near 262nd Road on U.S. Hwy 75 that had been entered stolen. A traffic stop was initiated and both women were taken into custody. The driver, Traci Elaine Reynolds, 37, of Wichita, was arrested for felony possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger, Jennifer Lynn Dewitt, 41, of Emporia, Kansas was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and transporting an open container.
