Suspect arrested on solicitation of a child
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Phillip James Hackathorn, 34, of Holton Thursday on a Jackson County District Court warrant for indecent solicitation of a child and electronic solicitation of a child. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation after the matter was reported to the Sheriff’s Office in November of 2018. The Sheriff’s Office served search warrants on Hackathorn’s Facebook and Snapchat accounts. Bond on Hackathorn was set at $50,000. Hackathorn posted bond and was released on Thursday.
