Lawrence man arrested on meth charges

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO) – Sheriff Tim Morse reports a Lawrence man landed in the Jackson County Jail following an early Tuesday morning traffic stop.  A Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a Toyota Camry around 2:10 a.m. February 1st, near US Hwy 75 and 112th Access.  The driver, Chase Andrew Thompson, 28, of Lawrence was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, unlawfully obtaining a prescription drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and transporting an open container.
