One arrested on drug and firearms charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO)-Sheriff Tim Morse reports a one is in custody following a Saturday evening traffic stop. A Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a 2007 Chrysler 300 for a traffic infraction near 142nd and US Hwy 75 at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Saturday. The driver, Albert Charles Wilson, 54, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of weapons, defacing identification marks on a firearm, driving while suspended and no insurance.
