Two arrested during traffic stop
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO)-Sheriff Tim Morse reports a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a 2001 Chevy Silverado for a traffic infraction near 150th and US Hwy 75 for a traffic infraction around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. The passenger of the vehicle, Tiffany Katherine Draper, 34, of Topeka, was arrested after deputies discovered that Draper was allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal drugs. Draper was booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transporting an open container. The driver, Daniel Michael Bautista, 28, of Topeka, was arrested for driving while suspended and for an outstanding Jackson County District Court warrant.
