Three Topekans arrested on drug charges
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (JASO)-Sheriff Tim Morse reports that three have been arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Jackson County. Shortly before 4 pm Tuesday afternoon, a Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer near 150th and US Hwy 75 for an alleged registration violation. Further investigation during the traffic stop led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. The occupants of the vehicle were arrested by deputies. The driver, Ronald Jeffery Bonham, 38, of Topeka, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A passenger, Andre Carlos Brown, 31, of Topeka, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Another passenger, Tiffany Lynn Williams, 43, of Topeka, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. All three suspects were booked into the Jackson County Jail.
