McLouth woman arrested on meth charges
A McLouth woman was arrested after the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a truck parked in the middle of Hwy 16 near W. Road. The Sheriff’s Office received the report a little after 4:30 a.m. Monday. Deputies found the truck running, parked in the middle of the highway and a woman asleep behind the steering wheel. The deputies discovered a substance believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The woman was identified as Marcy Jean Bowen, 37, of McLouth. Bowen was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and two misdemeanor drug charges.
